"We've had our Clean Burn furnace for four years," says Tom Adamson, Service Manager for Chicago Kenworth. It really helps out in two areas: we get rid of our used oil by burning all of our own oil, and we obtain free heat for our shop.

The main reasons we purchased the Clean Burn furnace were to eliminate our used oil disposal costs and our used oil liability. The Clean Burn furnace has accomplished both missions!

Because we wanted only to eliminate our used oil, the furnace we purchased was not designed to heat the entire shop. We set the other gas furnaces at a lower temperature, so the Clean Burn furnace runs first. If our small Clean Burn furnace can't keep up, the other furnaces will then come on.

Other than regular cleanings, there has been very little maintenance on the Clean Burn furnace.

We're considering another furnace so that we can eliminate our usage of the gas furnaces entirely. We have another facility and we're considering a Clean Burn furnace for that building, too!

It's been a worthwhile investment!"
